The Gayatri Mantra is one of the most revered and powerful mantras in Hinduism, found in the Rigveda. It is composed of a verse from the Rigveda (3.62.10) and is addressed to Goddess Gayatri, who is hailed as the source of divine knowledge and spiritual illumination. The mantra is as follows:
